Shade Plants

Country Lawnscape is only a little over 2/3 of an acre. A large section of the back of our property is home for a stand of nineteen tall shade trees. It took us a few years to figure out what to do with this area, but eventually we realized that they were here to stay, and we were forced to become knowledgeable in shade-tolerant plants. The list is long and includes a wide range of items, mostly perennials, flowering bushes, and shrubbery.

But best of all, we have a 150' long shade berm where you can find many of the listed items growing happily for years, to give you an idea of what a mature plant will look like at your place.
